I am a fourth-year graduate student in the department of Geography, Environment, and Society at the University of Minnesota. My research and teaching experiences are in the areas of Black Geographies, HIV/AIDS research, Biopolitics, Risk, Queer Theory, and Black Feminist Thought.

My proposed dissertation project seeks to understand the role of space in the production of scientific knowledge on HIV/AIDS prevention strategies. This project focuses on the post treatment as prevention era of HIV/AIDS prevention and the impacts this has had on local providers and Black LGBTQ communities in Atlanta, GA.
